Joe Freshgoods Reveals New Balance ‘Inside Voices’ Apparel Collection
Joe Freshgoods is on a hot streak with his collaborative projects with New Balance. He recently helmed the creative direction of the brand’s captivating “Conversations Amongst Us Collection,” and now he’s gearing up to introduce his next product-focused “Inside Voices” capsule. The new assemblage consists of 9060 footwear installments as well as apparel items, the latter of which will be the first to release to the masses.
The designer from the inner city of Chicago describes this range as a homage to the sights, sounds and feelings of growing up in a black household. Leading the clothing range is a wool varsity jacket that is furnished with an oversized “J” on the left chest, a “Forever Quietly Winning” hit on the right chest and a playful graphic that displays two kids whispering to each other above an “Inside Voices” text embellishment. The other outerwear piece that’s included here is a brown chore jacket that’s reminiscent of a Dickies Eisenhower, and this is made with a “JFG” patch on the left chest. Cozy sweatsuits also get brought into the mix and include crewnecks that feature New Balance branding and a kid rocking the aforementioned 9060s as well as sweatpants that spell out “Inside Voices” down the right leg.
The apparel is confirmed to release via the Joe Freshgoods site on May 17, and the shoes will follow at a later date that has yet to be announced.
