adidas Yeezy 500 to Release in Gravel-y ‘Granite’ Colourway
Kanye West is always someone that’s cooking up something new whether it be associated with new music, collaborative apparel or his ever-growing YEEZY sneaker empire. And this Spring, the latter is going expand with a hefty amount of new styles, one of which is the adidas YEEZY 500 “Granite” that the Three Stripes company has just officially announced.
If you’ve followed along the journey of Ye’s design tenure with the German sportswear brand then you’ll notice that he will often turn to neutral-focused palettes. That’s certainly the case for this fresh pair of 500s as the entire sneaker is completely wrapped in various shades of gray. The “Granite” hue takes charge here and covers the mesh tongues, and various suede overlays throughout the base while notes of charcoal fill in the mesh underlays. Reflective piping is also kept consistent here to give the kicks some visibility in darker environments. Down below, the adiPrene cushioning system is housed within a sculpted sole unit, and this is also swathed in a muted gray.
