PUMA release RE:Collection and RE:Style capsules
Fashion is finite: wear, waste, repeat. With the RE:Collection and RE:Style capsules, global sports brand PUMA has taken up the responsibility to rewrite that narrative – reduce impact, respect resources, and regenerate materials.
RE:COLLECTION
With RE:Collection, the capsule lets the material do the talking. This dynamic collection of footwear, apparel and accessories is constructed from PUMA’s own industry waste and other recycled materials.
Footwear items in the collection, including the Suede and Cali Dream, are made with at least 20% recycled material such as leather off-cuts, polyester made from recycled plastic and recycled cotton. Apparel and accessory items, such as oversized tees, hoodie, crew sweat, bucket hat and waist bag, feature grounding tones inspired by nature – with playful pops of brighter shades such as orange and blue.
RE:STYLE
RE:Style gives classic PUMA styles a redo for a timeless look that boosts the lifecycle of your closet. Footwear styles such as the Suede and CA Pro are made with 20% recycled materials at the upper. Apparel items in the collection include track jackets, track pants and tees for men and women. These pieces are simple and versatile so you can get more out of them and avoid contributing to overconsumption.
With the RE:Collection and RE:Style capsules PUMA is opting for high-quality circular fashion as a great way to reduce the fashion industry’s impact on the world. Feel good, look good, good for the planet … everybody wins.
Both capsules are available at PUMA.com and PUMA stores from 22 April 2022, with retail prices ranging from R399 – R2199. The footwear drops in June 2022.
