Each player received an extra 30 second bonus round to score extra points for their team. #TeamDJDoowap which was made up of dancer Tarryn TNT, rap artist 45 Degrees and Cape Town Tigers point guard, Lehlogonolo Tholo. At the end of the exciting competition, #TeamCourtnaéPaul, which included professional basketball player Somuso “Moose” Mthembu, African hip hop star, Rouge and fashion creator Zaid Osman, walked away as the winners.
Nike has always been entrenched both in pop culture and the sport of basketball. Sportscene continues to push the boundaries by redefining what the consumer shopping experience should feel like. With plenty of time still left in the year, consumers will be waiting anxiously for the brands’ next move.
