LEGO Creator Introduces Orchid Plant and Succulents That Are Impossible to Kill
LEGO has launched two new models inspired by plants.
The release adds to the brand’s “Botanical” collection, which was first introduced back in early 2021 as part of LEGO’s ongoing sustainability initiative. The initial launch featured a Flower Bouquet and Bonsai Tree made out of ethically sourced sugarcane.
This time around, an Orchid and Succulents are added to the lineup. The former, measuring 15 inches tall, resembles the look of a blossoming orchid, with six large flowers and two newly opened flowers. These pieces can be customized for any space. The latter is a set of nine succulents and cacti in individual containers that can be displayed together or individually. “We wanted to create a set that offers a relaxing and mindful building experience to help adults switch off from their busy lives and to most importantly re-focus on something they enjoy,” LEGO’s Senior Designer Anderson Ward Grubb shares in a press release.
The LEGO Creator “Orchid” and “Succulents” models are expected to release on May 1.
