Wider Release Date Announced: Union x Nike Dunk Low ‘Argon’
After kicking off their international travels with the Dunk Low ‘Pistachio’ in February, Union and Nike are set to release the second Dunk Low from their three-style ‘Passport Pack’: the ‘Argon.’ A two-tone blue style, the ‘Argon’ is a nod to a rare Dunk from the early 2000s that Union founder Chris Gibbs picked up on a trip to Japan and brought back to the US, furthering the collection’s themes of international travel and the thrill of hunting for rare sneakers in foreign countries.
The ‘Argon’ features a dual-shaded blue base and white Swoosh, both details that are true to its namesake. However, in signature ‘Passport Pack’ fashion, this base is encased in a semi-translucent gridded plastic shell. This cocoon-like overlay setup is accented further with red contrast stitching, applied in an intentionally devil-may-care fashion with loose threads hanging off of select pieces for a DIY look. There’s also a trifecta of specially branded Union hits: a small yellow tag on the lateral quarter, a circular badge on the lateral heel and a red ‘Frontman’ graphic on the icy blue outsoles.

You can expect the Union x Nike Dunk Low ‘Argon’ to hit the Union website on March 31, with a wider release potentially following in April.
