Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 3 Is Built for Convenience
Yesterday, Samsung unveiled its new folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip 3. For the third-generation model, the tech company optimized the folding design, offering an improved and unique smartphone experience.
The phone made its debut at Samsung’s 2021 Unpacked event, which showcased two new folding phones and a number of accessories that are soon to hit the market. The Z Flip 3 features a sleek and compact design that makes it efficient for those constantly on the move. Additionally, the phone features enhanced camera functions and a cover screen that is four times larger than the previous model.
Perhaps the most important update to the folding phone is the updated construction, making it more durable. The Z Flip 3 has been built with a new armor aluminum casing and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus screen. The new aluminum is the strongest ever used on a Galaxy smartphone is meant to protect against drops and scratches. With additional enhancements, the new screen is 80 percent more durable than Samsung’s previous folding models and is now water-resistant.
The new Z Flip 3 comes in four updated colorways: cream, lavender, green and phantom black. Samsung’s website will exclusively carry three additional colorways in pink, gray and white. Additionally, the model comes with 8GB of RAM in 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.
The Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 will be available for pre-order beginning 1 September 2021, and the purchase period continues until 30 September 2021. Redemption starts from 17 September till 31 October 2021. The recommended retail price22 for Galaxy Z Fold3 is R37 999. The recommended retail price for Galaxy Z Flip3 5G is R29 999.
