Apple’s iPhone 14 Could Reportedly Be Its Cheapest Series Ever
The iPhone 14 might supposedly be Apple’s cheapest iPhone series ever.
According to a new report from famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is looking to release two iPhone 14 low-end and high-end models each, both in sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches. It could be marketed in the same way the iPhone 12 is and named as the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, with the iPhone 14 Max releasing for under $900 USD — a substantial difference compared to the iPhone 12 Max‘s $1,099 USD starting price.
Kuo additionally predicted that the under-display fingerprint sensor will arrive with the iPhone 14 series, as well as a new wide-camera upgrade of 48MP. The “punch hole display” frequently seen in Android phones could also replace the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max’s notch design.
An official release date for the iPhone 14 is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to drop in 2022.
