G-Star raw releases the Scutar 3D Tapered Jean
With inspiration derived from a vintage dispatch rider pants from World War II, the new Scutar 3D Tapered Jean is the successor to the slim fit jean. Its tapered leg offers slightly more space than the slim fit and the 3D pattern construction with darts creates volume in the knee, which generates comfort during wearing. Thanks to its obvious o-shape and its RAW denim look, the Scutar creates a firm, tough profile.

Other features include a lowered belt loops, reinforced square back pockets, 3D Shaping Darts and double shank closure. A new G-Star Original.
The Scutar 3D Tapered jean is produced with Kir Stretch Denim o, the world’s 1st Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold stretch denim fabric introduced to the market by G-star RAW in October 2019. This revolutionary stretch denim presents 0 Risk to people and planet and is an evolution on Kir Denim o, introduced by G-Star in 2018.

This sustainable denim fiber is made of 100% organic cotton and is dyed with Raw for the Planet Indigo, which uses 15% less indigo, 70% less chemicals, no salts, and produces no salt by-product during reduction and dyeing process. Through this, water is saved and clean and recyclable effluent water is left. This innovative dyeing process is formulated in partnership with DyStar® and Artistic Milliners.

Organic cotton fibers are free of toxic pesticides and chemical fertilisers. Growing organic cotton helps to improve soil quality, prevents water contamination and conserves biodiversity. By choosing organic cotton, we can save up to 91% water.
