Nike Celebrates Indigenous Athletes With the N7 Collection
Nike is back with its new N7 collection, and it’s time to upgrade your summer sportswear moodboard. Blending cozy activewear with deep-rooted culture, history and heritage, this new drop is a gorgeous, soccer-inspired celebration of Indigenous communities both on and off the pitch.
Designed just in time for the World Cup, the collection takes inspiration from the breathtaking natural beauty of the American Southwest. Think dreamy shades of mountainous terrain, rich clay and water, beautifully paired with graphics that pay homage to traditional Native American textiles and rug-weaving craftsmanship.
Fronting the stunning campaign is Utah Royals midfielder Madison Hammond — the first Native American to play in the NWSL — alongside Stanford soccer star TJ Kahoalii. Hammond worked hand-in-hand with the N7 design team to bring her authentic story to life, ensuring culture and style merge effortlessly.
The capsule features pieces that can go fro pitch to street seamlessly, including a sleek training jacket with matching high-rise shorts, a mesh soccer jersey and exclusive, must-have colorways of the Gato N7 and P-6000 N7 sneakers.
Launching with a good cause in mind, the release supports Nike’s ongoing N7 Fund, which empowers Indigenous youth through sport.
The Nike N7 collection drops June 18 on the Nike website and select retailers.
