Official Look at the Thom Browne x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Collaboration
American luxury label Thom Browne has officially expanded its footwear repertoire with its first-ever sneaker collaboration, joining forces with ASICS to reimagine the highly popular GEL-Kayano 14. Initially unveiled during Thom Browne’s Fall 2026 runway presentation at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, the highly anticipated partnership seamlessly bridges the gap between avant-garde tailoring and heritage performance wear.
Leaning into the designer’s signature uniform aesthetic, the collaborative capsule arrives in a sleek, monochrome three-pack. The standout grey colorway stays true to Thom Browne’s classic sartorial codes, constructed with a breathable mesh upper anchored by plush premium suede overlays. The pack is rounded out by a versatile triple-black iteration, which also utilizes a heavy suede makeup, alongside a clean triple-white version that opts for a crisp leather and mesh blend.
While maintaining the technical complexity and signature GEL cushioning of the 2000s runner, the silhouettes are distinctly elevated through Thom Browne’s bespoke lens. Unique design details include thick embroidered piping and intricate zig-zag stitching across the side panel logo. Most notably, the designer’s iconic identity is woven directly into the shoe’s architecture, featuring the classic red, white, and blue tri-color grosgrain flag functioning as a bold pull tab at the heel and heavily accenting the tongue stabilizer.
The Thom Browne x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 collection is scheduled to release globally on March 2, 2026, via Thom Browne, ASICS, and select retailers.
