Nike Presents the Shox Z
Nike has put the Shox franchise back in the spotlight this year, with several of its silhouettes offering an abundance of colorways throughout. While it’s been asserted as a staple, there’s only been a small handful of tangible moments in which the Shox has captivated the sneaker space. However, we hypothesized back in July that a newly-teased Shox model could bring fresh energy.
Now, the Shox Z has officially been announced by Nike, coinciding with a limited launch in China. This elevated, minimalist take on the Shox franchise features a kitten heel-like build, balancing elegance and sportstyle. It’s built for around-the-clock wear, offering a modern reinterpretation of the classic line. 10 colorways have been presented, ranging from a Martine Rose Shox MR4-adjacent black and red to neon iterations.
For those looking to pick up a pair, Nike has officially launched the Shox Z in China. It is scheduled to see a global launch later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers in a wide variety of colorways at an expected price point of $140 USD. Stay tuned for updates as we await more information regarding its wider rollout.
