HBO Max Drops Terrifying ‘IT: Welcome to Derry’ Official Trailer

The town of Derry’s dark secrets are about to be revealed. HBO has released the official trailer and key art for its original new series, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY, which delves into the disturbing origins of Stephen King’s most famous universe. The show, from filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti, who directed the blockbuster films, is set to premiere on October 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max.

The new trailer teases a terrifying origin story that expands on the vision established by the feature films. It plunges audiences back into the world of Derry to explore the dark history of the town and its ancient, malevolent force. The series, which is developed by the Muschiettis and Jason Fuchs, will be an eight-episode season, with Andy Muschietti returning to direct multiple episodes.
