Take an Official Look at the Song for the Mute x adidas Originals 006 Collection
Song for the Mute’s sixth collaboration with adidas Originals unfolds as a study in restrained rebellion. The SFTM x adidas Originals 006 collection comprises seven apparel pieces alongside two reimagined footwear silhouettes: the SFTM-006 Adizero PR and SFTM-007 Taekwondo Mei. For the first time, the two brands have also prepared accessories, spanning a washed-cotton cap and a hybrid tote-shoulder bag.
The Taekwondo Mei retains its martial-arts silhouette but gains an elasticated, gathered collar, laced closure and asymmetric, top-stitched toe panels in scuffed, antiqued suede — rendered in khaki, sand and black atop a semi-translucent sole stamped with cracked-print 3-Stripes. The Adizero PR pauses its archival track momentum with an antiqued rubber midsole, mismatched laces, silver overlays and protective metal studs. Its lightweight mesh and TPU upper appear in off-tones of black, oxidized white and a deep, oxblood-sport red hybrid.
Apparel is the most expansive yet, stitching together velvet track jackets, oversized gabardine overshirts, washed-out tartan pleated trousers and reworked track pants in a palette of warm neutrals, bleached mustard, tarnished red and washed black. Complementing these pieces, the aged-look cap and structured tote-shoulder bag bridge past and future utility.
Preview the lineup in the gallery above. The collection will first launch on October 3 via an exclusive pre-release at Song for the Mute’s Sydney flagship and website. Meanwhile, the global launch for the collection will begin on October 10, 2025.
