sacai and Carhartt WIP Return for a Third Capsule Collection
sacai and Carhartt WIP have reunited for their third collaborative capsule collection, set to officially launch on October 3. The 19-piece collection merges the distinct design DNA of both brands, reinterpreting classic Carhartt WIP items with sacai’s signature aesthetic.
A highlight of the collection is a hybrid jacket that combines Carhartt WIP’s iconic Detroit Jacket with sacai’s puffer jacket, featuring an insulating lining and classic down-stitching on the canvas shell. Another standout piece is a cropped leather jacket with an asymmetric front opening, which incorporates elements of a classic biker jacket. The collection also features a women’s skirt, created by blending Carhartt WIP’s Arctic Jacket and Double-Knee Pant with sacai’s signature oversized pocket details.
Each piece is marked with a special, co-branded woven Square Label. Additionally, men’s and unisex items made from cotton canvas are finished with a garment-washed treatment for a soft, lived-in feel.
Check out the release above. The collection will be available on October 3 at select global retailers and sacai stores, as well as on the sacai and Carhartt WIP webstores. Prior to the official release, an exclusive pop-up will be held in Hong Kong on October 2, with pre-launches in Beijing, Shanghai, and Korea on the same day.
