Palace Reunites With Jean Charles de Castelbajac For Third Collaborative Capsule
This summer, Palace reunites with iconic French designer and artist Jean Charles de Castelbajac for their third collaborative capsule collection. Drawing directly from Castelbajac’s signature collage aesthetic, the collection transforms his playful artwork into wearable statements. Featuring outerwear, jeans, hoodies, tees and knitwear, each piece is adorned with cut-out lettering, spontaneous shapes and vivid graphic storytelling.
“In this third collection for Palace, I wanted no frontier between art, fashion, style and movement,” Castelbajac shares. “Every element is a moving art piece, a collectible, a special one for universal graphic heroes.” Castelbajac’s signature visual language reinterprets Palace’s streetwear codes — disassembling and rebuilding the brand’s typography using felt appliqué, layered prints and surreal graphics. Nostalgic pop-art influences shine through in rainbow palettes, checkerboard patterns and abstract motifs throughout the range.
Key highlights include a multicolored varsity jacket with irregular felt wordmarks, alongside hoodies and long-sleeve tees featuring Castelbajac’s distinctive collage imagery. Workwear-inspired denim jackets and wide-leg trousers in black and white offer a canvas for bold visual cut-outs and dreamlike graphic embellishments, seamlessly blending art and streetwear in true collaborative spirit.
In addition to the Jean Charles de Castelbajac range, Palace also unveils new offerings from its seasonal mainline. Leading the Summer 2025 Drop 8 release is the Clear Visor P 6-Panel cap in black, navy and white. The design pairs a breathable woven base with a sleek translucent visor — subtle in black, electric blue in navy and a bold hot pink in the white version.
The Palace x Jean Charles de Castelbajac collection will be available online from June 27, 11 a.m. EDT/BST and on June 28, 11 a.m. JST in Japan and Korea. The full collection will also be stocked at Palace flagship locations and Dover Street Market in London, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Ginza.
