A$AP Nast Teams up With COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT for New Collaboration
The collaboration between COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT and A$AP Nast is a highly anticipated meeting of avant-garde Japanese design and the Harlem-born rapper’s distinct streetwear sensibility. This capsule collection marks a significant moment as A$AP Nast is the first musician to collaborate directly with the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT line to customize existing styles.
The collection comprises of 12 styles across T-shirts, cardigans, and shirts. The designs prominently feature A$AP Nast’s logo and graphics drawing inspiration from his forthcoming album, aptly titled 90’s Era Nasty creating a cohesive link between his music and fashion endeavors. A$AP Nast has frequently expressed his deep appreciation for CDG, considering it his “all-time favorite” brand and a significant part of his personal style and wardrobe. He is also often seen at the shows, supporting Rei Kawakubo during Paris Fashion Week.
This collaboration can be seen as a surreal yet natural progression of his relationship with the iconic label, allowing him to imprint his own creative vision onto pieces from a brand he deeply respects. The campaign imagery for the collection was lensed by Dexter Navy, a frequent collaborator of A$AP Nast and the launch will be celebrated with various activations across Dover Street Market locations, further amplifying the synergy between music, fashion, and community. The collection is slated to launch globally across all Dover Street Market locations and online starting May 15, 2025 with an earlier release on May 8th in New York.
