adidas Originals x CLOT Silk Collection Honors Indigenous Chinese Heritage With Striking Campaign
adidas Originals and CLOT are back at it again, building on their ongoing creative relationship with a new drop that taps into deep cultural roots. Their latest offering, the “Silk” collection, draws inspiration from indigenous Chinese craftsmanship and heritage, reinterpreting it through a contemporary streetwear lens.
Leading the lineup is the adidas Originals’ Gazelle, reimagined in two standout versions: one in white wrapped in CLOT’s signature silk royale pattern, and another in blue with bold yellow and green side stripes. Both silhouettes feature leather uppers, suede overlays, subtle platformed crepe soles and gold-tipped laces.
The apparel is just as good, one standout piece that we love is the cream-colored, crochet-knit zip-up — an intricate design adorned with rich geometric patterns in earthy tones of red, brown and orange. It’s a nod to textile traditions, brought into the present that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
The apparel arrives on adidas’ CONFIRMED app on April 14, while the sneakers land globally on April 19 on the brand’s official website.
