“Hyper Violet” Hits the Nike Air Max Sunder

Nike finally brought back the Air Max Sunder to the masses last year, dropping it in a wide variety of colorways, including Kids of Immigrants’ two pairs that earned many sneaker of the year nods. Adding to the model’s arsenal of looks, a new “Hyper Violet” look has just been presented by the Swoosh.

Our first preview of this new women’s-exclusive iteration of the Air Max Sunder sees it begin with a black mudguard accompanied by the model’s signature rhombus overlays in white with black dotting. From there, its “Hyper Violet” gradient begins in a light lavender at the forefoot and transitions to a stronger violet finish at the heel. Black detailing hits the shoe’s pull ring, pull tabs and outsole while a white midsole rounds things out with a visible Air unit at the rear.

At the time of writing, Nike has not yet announced when this “Hyper Violet” take on the Air Max Sunder will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates regarding its launch as we currently expect it to land on shelves later this year in women’s sizing via Nike SNKRS and select retailers
