ASICS Dresses the GEL-QUANTUM KINETIC in “Oatmeal/Dark Taupe”

ASICS has revealed an “Oatmeal/Dark Taupe” colorway for the GEL-QUANTUM KINETIC silhouette. At a glance, the new variant is reminiscent of “Birch,” a colorway that was released back in fall 2024. But what truly sets the two iterations apart is the noticeably more wintry palette for the “Oatmeal/Dark Taupe.” Set against a white mesh, the upper features leathery overlays and laces in “Dark Taupe” to create an interlaced effect with the “Oatmeal” sockliner and tongue.

Designed for urban exploration, the model combines experimental engineering with practical details for daily use. The midsole, constructed with expertise from the ASICS Institute of Sport Science, incorporates Scutoid GEL® technology with a unique 3D geometry and off-axis structure to improve shock absorption, making it ideal for city commuting as well as long periods of standing.
