Sporty & Rich Announce adidas Originals SL72 “Sweden Pack”
Sporty & Rich x adidas have maintained one of the most fruitful footwear partnerships, continuously churning out new iterations of adidas Originals‘ silhouettes while solidifying their collective design language as a duo. The latest collaborative offering from the athletic imprint and Emily Oberg‘s New York-based brand is a homage to Oberg’s half-Swedish roots; entitled the “Sweden Pack,” the vibrant new delivery from the seasoned duo consists of three striking new 1970s-influenced adidas SL72 colorways: “Mint Rush/Power Purple,” “Real Blue/Light Yellow” and “Light Yellow/Real Blue.”
All three colorways of the archival silhouette have been previewed before, with the “Mint Rush” and “Light Yellow” iterations surfacing most recently back in October. The “Real Blue” hue – the inverse of the “Light Yellow” colorway – was first previewed back in March.
Each of the three SL72 sneakers features a nylon upper elevated with sleek suede overlays and leather stripes. Hits of branding appear on the tongue, with another Sporty & Rich logo stamped atop the three stripes.
For sport, for leisure, for play, for always. The adidas Originals SL72 Sporty & Rich drop will be available on 26th November at adidas.co.za and Sandton flagship store at a retail price of R2499.
