CLOT x adidas Superstar Gets a Monochrome Makeover
Founded by Edison Chen in 2003, CLOT continues to redefine the fusion of fashion and footwear with its latest venture, the “Black/White” edition of the CLOT x adidas Originals Superstar. This iteration follows the success of its previous release, further cementing the brand’s commitment to innovation and cultural connectivity. The new design elevates the classic adidas Originals Superstar silhouette with a sleek black leather upper contrasted by white Three Stripes, incorporating refined brogue details like lace tassels and a perforated back tab for a modern twist. Unlike its predecessor in white, this sneaker features an all-black midsole with distinct white stripes and a serrated rubber outsole.
Scheduled to drop on April 12, 2024 and retailing for $200 USD, the CLOT x adidas Originals Superstar “Black/White” will be available in men’s sizes via Juice Store, select retailers, adidas.com, and adidas CONFIRMED. This release signifies a pivotal moment in CLOT’s collaboration history, transitioning from Nike to adidas and showcasing Edison Chen’s vision of merging Eastern and Western fashion narratives through distinctive footwear design.
