This Nike Air Force 1 Low Celebrates the Year of the Dragon
Nike and Jordan Brand have celebrated Chinese New Year consistently for over a decade now. Looking to the Chinese zodiac for inspiration each year, 2024’s celebration of the Year of the Dragon has informed several pairs that have already surfaced — including an Air Jordan 1 Low OG and Air Jordan 38.
The latest look to appear under 2024’s “Year of the Dragon” theme is on the Air Force 1 Low. Combining a light gray and pastel pink, the upper features the former as a leather base and the latter in soft suede at the overlays. The Swooshes and heel tab are dressed in a similar gray hue with a scale texture connecting the pair to the theme. Additional thematic inclusions begin with the dragon-inspired “Just Do It” tongue tag, which is joined by the special sockliner graphics, lace lock and heel tag. Rounding out the look, a stitched white midsole rests atop a semi-translucent pink-gum outsole.
At the time of writing, no information from Nike nor Jordan Brand has surfaced regarding their upcoming celebration of the Year of the Dragon. However, with festivities taking place at the beginning of 2024, it’s safe to assume this Air Force 1 Low and its accompanying arrangements will be releasing at that time via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
