CLOT SS24 Opens a New Chapter of Creativity
Showcased during Shanghai Fashion Week, CLOT is opening a new chapter of creativity with its new Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Entitled “CHANGE THE GENERATION,” the latest offering centers on the brand’s exaltation of emerging talent and celebration of Chinese culture.
Led by creative director Edison Chen and with the help of Humberto Leon as a co-designing creative consultant, the new collection embraces the fusion of Easter and Western styles to bring forth new hallmarks of the CLOT identity. In uncovering these elements, the collection also marks CLOT’s debut womenswear line, in-house footwear and handbag collections. From embellished blazers and silk Tang shirts with matching shorts to cool-hued tracksuits and denim, the collection is wide-reaching yet still retains CLOT’s signature personality. But to bring these garments to fruition, the collection is inspired by vintage martial arts films, Bruce Lee, sportswear and more.

Across the wardrobe, CLOT blends recycled yarns, classic cotton and satin fabrications with eye-catching graphic elements – featuring brush strokes, spray paint, hand-drawn details, floral motifs and the subversion of traditional Chinese everyday objects. Aside from its mainline pieces, another standout of the collection is the brand’s partnership with adidas, which spans polos, double-layer tops and tracksuits. But perhaps the highlight of the collection is its lineup of embedded collaborative pieces that enlists sacai, 1017 ALYX 9SM, NEIGHBORHOOD, Tommy Hilfiger, The North Face and LỰU ĐẠN.
