Nike and Nashville’s Slim & Husky’s Pizza Come Together for This Nike Terminator High
Nike has joined forces with Nashville’s Slim & Husky’s Pizza for a fun edition of the Terminator High sneakers. The collaboration is part of Nike’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) collection and pays tribute to Tennessee State University, where the founders of Slim & Husky’s graduated.
The shoe’s design incorporates the university’s colors, with a white leather base and deep blue panel swooshes. Animal print overlays on the toebox and heel represent the school’s mascot, the Tigers.
Detailed touches on the shoe include “1912” embroidery near the forefoot, symbolizing the university’s founding year, co-branded Nike and Slim & Husky’s tongue tags, an embroidered “T” on the heel and insoles featuring the Tigerbelles, the women’s track and field team. The silhouette is completed with a white midsole and bright red outsole, complemented by matching white laces for a clean finish.
Nike’s Terminator High “Slim & Husky’s Pizza” is expected to drop in the upcoming months through Nike and select retailers.
