Vintage 1990s motifs are an everyday inspiration for Chelsea FC this football season, seeing its 2023/24 home jersey reflect the club’s 1997/98 campaign. Well into the Premier League season, the British team reunites with Nike to unveil its seasonal away kit.
Chelsea FC’s 2023/24 away uniform recalls glamorous ’90s football kits, where textures and patterns reigned supreme. Much like its 1989/90 home kit, the club’s latest offering is dominated by hypnotizing geometric figures.
The 2023/24 jersey sports an all-black base crafted from Nike’s sweat-resistant fabrics. The shirt features technical diamond patterns throughout, shrinking and expanding in captivating blue hues. Dual-toned stripes enhance the textile collar and armbands, while Chelsea FC’s “reguardant” lion emblem receives luxurious gold perimeters. Nike’s customary Swoosh logo decorates the right chest, destined for on-field domination with a sponsorless finish.
