21 Savage Is Joining ‘Call of Duty’ Soon
21 Savage is the latest rapper to step into the Call of Duty sphere. As confirmed in the post for Season 5 Reloaded, the rapper’s operator skin will be available to purchase in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone beginning on August 30.
Call of Duty shared the following messages on Twitter and Instagram reaffirming the forthcoming release.
Call of Duty‘s initial announcement surrounding the slated Season Five updates was released earlier this summer and spotlights two other rappers that already hit the Activision scene earlier this month in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop. Snoop Dogg landed in the Call of Duty universe in early August, and Nicki Minaj joined Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone last week. The statement regarding Savage’s arrival on the scene reads as follows:
“Call him a rockstar or Mr. Right Now, no matter what, he’s 21 Savage. Born in London and raised in Atlanta, a community he continues to give back to through philanthropic efforts, the Slaughter King went from underground hero to award-winning rapper. Now, without warning, it’s time for him to go Savage Mode in Call of Duty – expect an Operator Bundle featuring 21 Savage to drop as part of the Reloaded offerings.”
