Nike Dunk High Celebrates 50 Years of Hip-Hop With New Black/Grey Colorway
Following up on the GRAMMY’s tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, Nike is also giving its own tribute to the genre and culture that the label has long been connected to over the past few decades. Giving a nod to hip-hop, Nike has unveiled a new “Classics” colorway for its iconic high-top silhouette, the Dunk High to commemorate the celebration.
For five decades of hip-hop, the shoe arrives in a mostly slick, black and grey color scheme. The shoe features a special label on the tongue tag, calling out the 50th-anniversary celebration of hip-hop. The show if constructed ith its typical premium leather build, this time with a grey base and black panels. The Swoosh is highlighted in both colors in an ombré spray paint-like texture. As for the underfoot, the shoe features an aged-looking midsole, a nod to the “Classics” era, while the rest of the shoe sits atop a black rubber outsole.

Look out for the celebratory pair arriving in the coming months at select retailers and online at Nike.
