Official Images of the Nike Air Max 1 “Magma Orange”
For Nike, 2022 is a year of many anniversaries, including the brand’s 50th year in business. Another key milestone for the Swoosh has been the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1. Celebrating this, retro colorways such as 2004’s “Crepe Hemp” made a return alongside new collaborative releases with Patta, Travis Scott, Kasina and more. Now, yet another fresh look for the silhouette has been shared, this time in a detailed “Magma Orange” presentation.
Previously surfaced, the “Magma Orange” colorway offers familiar detailing, blending a similar color palette to 2021’s Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch” with 2017’s “Master” look that included a special mudguard with details based on iconic releases from years past. The end result of this pair is a mixed material upper that begins in “Light Bone” and “Neutral Grey” at the base and presents “Magma Orange” detailing at the mudguard made up of various textures, Swooshes with a crater pattern, tongue, heel branding and rubber outsole. A visible Air unit can be spotted in an off-white that matches the midsole which carries an aged appearance.
Release for the Nike Air Max 1 “Magma Orange” is expected to take place in the coming months via Nike and select retailers worldwide. Take an official look at the pair above and stay tuned for more details.
