Denim Tears x Stüssy x Our Legacy Collaboration Pushes the Parameters of Style
A trio of collaborations is hitting the market as Denim Tears joins forces with Stüssy and Our Legacy for a capsule collection.
Combining the roots of each of these design houses and what each of them stand for in the world of streetwear, the collaboration brings forward what all three brands have in common – the ability to push the boundaries and parameters of style. When assembling his co-contributors for the collection, Tremaine Emory of Denim Tears, known for his ability to paradoxically interrupt the course of contemporary fashion and bring to center stage his idea of “Afro-Americana,” he chose iconic collaborators that continue to push the idea of counter-culture.
With this particular collection, the capsule features two Type 2 Trucker Jackets and Denim Tears 501’s in black and white. Each of the pieces is adorned with each brand’s motifs, inspired by its hometown and talisman crests. The signature Stüssy font is evident as well as the co-branded patches on the pieces. Starting on September 9, the Denim Tears x Stüssy x Our Legacy pieces will be available globally at select stores, select Dover Street Market locations and online at Our Legacy, Denim Tears and Stüssy.
