Nike Dunk High Gets a “Reverse Goldenrod” Makeover

When it comes to Dunk and SB Dunk families, Nike’s ‘Goldenrod’ colour scheme has a big one – and now its tribe has gained another member, namely a Dunk High dubbed the ‘Reverse Goldenrod.’ Following the release of the Dunk Low ‘Goldenrod’ in December 2021 and other styles like the SB Dunk High ‘Reverse Goldenrod,’ this new Dunk High puts another slightly altered twist on a familiar colour scheme.

Uppers are constructed entirely of leather – save for the nylon tongue, of course – and combine Iowa Hawkeyes-like ‘Goldenrod’ tones on the toebox, quarter panel, collar, throat and laces with stark black mudguards, eyestays, Swooshes, heel, collar flaps and collar trim. For a little extra spice, there are hits of ‘Habanero Red’ on both the tongue tag’s branding and the insole, while white midsoles and black outsoles finalize the look.

We’ve seen what seems like dozens of Dunks in recent weeks, and many of them don’t yet have release dates. The Dunk High ‘Reverse Goldenrod’ is no exception, but it’s likely to hit retailers sometime later this year, and we’ll be sure to update you when it does.
