An Official Look at the Air Jordan 1 Elevate High “Varsity Red”
It was back in 2021 when Jordan Brand released a divisive new version of the AJ1 dubbed L8VD (elevated) that boasted a gargantuan platform sole. Despite the controversy surrounding the design, the modernised take on the Air Jordan 1 had plenty of hype behind it. Continuing on with the raised sole vibe, Jordan Brand are looking to reach for the stars with a High-top iteration in ‘Varsity Red’.
Official Imagery has surfaced of this pair, which has been named as Air Jordan 1 LV8D High and has a massive midsole down below in a ‘Coconut Milk’ tone and rugged red outsole. Up top is a full leather construction with usual perforations on the toe and interestingly, the tongue and lateral angle branding has been smoothed over. The colourway has been comprised of a two-tone option with ‘Varsity Red’ and ‘Summit White’.
No release date has been locked in for the Air Jordan 1 LV8D ‘Varsity Red’ however, the official imagery has surfaced meaning that they shouldn’t be too far away.
