New Balance Adds “Navy/Castlerock” to the 990v2
Teddy Santis and the rest of the MADE in USA team have been on a roll this year with clean offerings of key New Balance silhouettes. One theme throughout 2022’s releases has been sharing color palettes across several New Balance footwear styles. Whether it be the lightly colored “Sea Salt” treatment or the new “Navy/Castlerock” look, there’s a continuity in the MADE in USA line that has supported its positioning as one of the sneaker game’s most tasteful divisions.
First spotted on the New Balance MADE in USA 990v3, “Navy/Castlerock” has also made its way to the 990v2. Balancing premium pig suede and mesh on its upper, this colorway carries a mixture of blue hues with supporting shades of gray. The “N” logo opts for a light gray finish while “USA” embroidery on the heel arrives in black. A darker gray tongue carries New Balance 990 branding while a tonal callout to the ABZORB sole unit is found on the off-white midsole.
Look for the New Balance MADE in USA 990v2 “Navy/Castlerock” to hit shelves August 25 via New Balance and select retailers.
