Official Look at the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Multi-Patent”

Official images have emerged of an upcoming UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration, presumably in time for the model’s 40th anniversary this year. While some leaked factory shots had been doing the rounds for the past few weeks, this batch of e-comm shots confirms the legitimate existence of the shoes. At first glance, this very bright and shiny multicoloured patent leather take is a nod to the kaleidoscopic colourways that graced the AF-1 back in the mid 2000s.

In fact, this collaboration could’ve sat on the shelves of UNDEFEATED back in 2005-6 and sneakerheads would have been none the wiser, because they certainly are representative of the era. Its uppers use a fruity mix of light and dark blue, pink, red, purple, maroon, and peach pink – all in patent leather. UNDEFEATED’s ‘five strike’ logo appears on the tongue and heel, and their wordmark is remade into large dubrae, another element reminiscent of a bygone era. Continuing this stylistic throwback is the ice outsoles, which are now tinted more blue to prevent the premature yellowing that older AF-1 releases can be prone to. The reverence for the model is made very clear on the insoles, with an allover graphic depicting the shoe surrounding another ‘five strike’ logo.

With rumours of another colourway in the collaborative collection, it should be any day now that UNDEFEATED officially announce the pack.
