Nike Air Max 1 Premium Receives a Denim Makeover
The Nike Air Max 1 is never far from the perpetual sneaker news cycle, with new colourways and colabs cropping up every few weeks. This year especially, there has been a slew of spicy GRs such as the ‘Tour Yellow’ and trio of Air Max Day drops. Big name linkups have also been popping off, Travis Scott, Kasina and Patta injecting plenty of hype into the decades old Air Max. Now set to expand their Premium selection, Nike have built a new colourway dubbed ‘Mineral Slate’.
This denim-clad iteration consists of ‘Mineral Slate’, ’Deep Royal Blue’ and ‘Lemon Wash’. Displaying a clear faux-vintage vibe, the midsole has been yellowed and complements the gum outsole. The upper boasts a mostly brushed suede fabric, with lighter faded denim overlays and deep blue Swoosh and liner.
The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Mineral Slate’ has been locked in to hit shelves over the coming months at select retailers around the globe.
