Fucking Awesome and adidas Lace up the Experiment 1 in a “Dust Sand” Colorway
Following a handful of releases together, Fucking Awesome and adidas revisit the Experiment 1 model as they play around with earthy hues and warped camo prints. Founder and skateboarder Jason Dill is known for his joint efforts with the Three Stripes brand as they serve bold takes on classic silhouettes such as the Stan Smith pack and Tyshawn skate shoes.
For this second take, the current design sees supple and suede leather overlays in Tan running along the toe box, mudguards and ankle collar. A Dark Olive Green hue makes for the three stripes over a delicately patterned camo-like base. The tongue, laces and sockliner opt for a stealth black makeup to emphasize the collaboration label featuring a blue and purple mountain. Finishing off the design is a gum rubber outsole.
