Air Jordan 36 Luka Doncic “El Matador” Has an Official Release Date

One of the most popular silhouettes on the NBA hardwood during season 2021-22, the omnipresent Air Jordan 36 has been laced by everyone from Jayson Tatum to Luka Dončić. (It’ll no doubt be interesting to see whether the Air Jordan 37 can have the same kind of impact on the league, with Jordan Brand recently revealing the brand new design this month.)

While Dončić’s first signature shoe is expected to land over the coming months, it looks like the Jumpman still have a few special editions AJ36s to reveal for the Slovenian superstar, the latest ‘El Matador’ colourway a tribute to Dončić’s time playing for Real Madrid.

Paying homage to Dončić’s El Matador nickname, the colourway is manufactured in a regal red base with metallic gold detailing reminiscent of the traje de luces costumes worn by traditional bullfighters in Spain.
