Official Images of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “White”
The ‘Wave’ ain’t over just yet: Patta and Nike have more Air Max 1 collaborations incoming. This was already confirmed with a new colourway teaser a couple of weeks ago, and now another white edition is on the way.
As confirmed by Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo, there is a white-on-white AM1 styled like the other colourways in the ‘Wave’ collection. He was first spotted wearing a similar pair a few months ago, which turned out to be a F&F version embroidered with ‘Roman Forever’ on heels in tribute to his late son.
More recently, Sabajo posted to his Instagram Story an on-foot image of the new pair with the caption ‘Yes these are coming out [a]nd no these are not the Roman ones’, more or less confirming their imminent release. As far as the colourway goes, it’s a white and grey take on the AM1, with the distinct wave-like modification to the mudguard. Some creamy tones on the midsole and laces maintain the current faux-vintage trend, and the popular mini Swoosh returns.
No official launch dates have been announced for this pair just yet, but it’s likely that Patta will confirm this in the coming months.
