Air Jordan 1 KO Receives a Full Grayscale Outfit
The Air Jordan 1 KO is the quirky, fun-loving cousin of the Air Jordan 1 family – the kind that you might not see as often as you’d like, but when you do it’s always a good time. The last time we got to kick it with the KO was when a ‘Syracuse’ colourway popped up back in March, but now Jordan Brand are readying it for a July drop as a white, grey and black style has appeared.
A no-frills colour scheme with a dash of greyscale styling, the mix of white, black and grey is highly effective on the KO’s lightly-paneled upper. The grey mudguards, forefoot overlays and eyestays work with white toeboxes, collar flaps, tongues and quarter panels for a soft contrast that’s embellished with black Swooshes, ball-and-wings branding and tongue logos/trim. There’s also an ever-so-light tan tone that’s used on the collar and the outsole, the latter of which features black speckling for a vanilla bean ice cream-like look.
If you’re looking to kick it with these Air Jordan 1 KOs, you’ll be able to do so later in July. Some outlets are reporting a release date of July 17. However, that would be a Sunday in the US, which isn’t normally a day that Jordan Brand puts out new models, so it’s a possibility that they’ll be touching down on July 16 instead.
