Jordan Brand Presents the Air Jordan 3 “Dark Iris”
Originally released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 was famously laced by Michael Jordan during his second slam dunk contest W. With the help of Mars Blackmon and a MVP nomination, Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 3 quickly became a favourite among sneakerheads – an important point given the mixed reception of the Air Jordan 2 in 1987.
One of the most iconic designs in the Jumpman canon, the Air Jordan 3 continues to prove popular in 2022, with the Jordan Brand rolling out solid in-line colourways like the ‘Desert Elephant’ and ‘Black Cement’.
The latest model to arrive is the Air Jordan 3 ‘Dark Iris’, a remix of the popular AJ3 ‘Court Purple’ from 2020. Manufactured in a crisp, white tumbled leather base with its titular ‘Court Purple’ accents, the colourway features black sockliners and legendary elephant print overlays. Down below, retro grey rubber outsoles complete the design.
Look for the Air Jordan 3 ‘Dark Iris’ to land on August 24.
