Patta x Awake NY x Carhartt WIP Launch Milan-Exclusive Capsule
There’s something pretty special about three-way collaborations, isn’t there? Take Clot teaming up with sacai and Nike for an LD Waffle silhouette last year for example, or when Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney united for FourFiveSeconds in 2015.
But, what happens when – and no disrespect to McCartney, but c’mon – all three collaborators are at the top of their respective games and decide to team up for one three-way limited-edition release? The answer: Patta x Awake NY x Carhartt WIP.
To mark the beginning of this year’s Milan Fashion Week, all three brands have teamed up for an exclusive Milanese exclusive collection that’s set to launch at Patta’s Milan store on June 19.
Featuring two styles of co-branded tees and hoodies, each garment adorns a three-way brand logo ensemble on the reverse, with a smaller iteration atop a special “Milano” motif at the front left breast.
What’s more, to mark the beginning of fashion week, the three labels will be launching the collaboration with a party at a secret Milan location, which will be powered by the infamous Patta Soundsystem and guests including Bao G, Qendresa, Pantonepapi, Lil Vic, and sgamo.
For all three brands, this collaboration is just the latest in a long line of link-ups so far this year. For Patta it comes off the back of recent drops alongside Mephisto and Mizuno, with Awake NY hooking up with the likes of Crocs and Lacoste, and similarly Carhartt WIP with TooGood and most recently Helinox.
