Official Images of the NOCTA x Nike Air Hot Step “Black/University Gold”
Drop a surprise album, ready up a new colab with Nike. It’s all in a day’s work for Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham, the superstar rapper who shocked fans with yesterday’s midnight release of Honestly, Nevermind. The unexpected arrival of his seventh studio album was quickly followed up by official images of his forthcoming NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra in ‘University Gold.’
The ‘University Gold’ is the third colourway of the Hot Step Air Terra to release after all white and all black pairs hit the market earlier this year. Unlike its monochromatic counterparts, it cuts its murky build with a swath of ‘University Gold’ on and around the heel’s Air Max cushioning unit plus small hits on the tongue, top eyestays, small midfoot Swooshes and outsole as well.
Loosely based on the Air Terra Humara and drawing from Drake’s longstanding love of roadman culture, the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra ‘University Gold’ offers up a decidedly 2000s aesthetic. Final touches are served up by a G-TEK outsole traction pattern and light blue-grey insoles stamped with a NOCTA logo.
Drake and Nike are likely to announce the official launch info for these in the coming weeks.
