Nike Gives the Air Presto Two “Tie-Dye” Looks
When the Nike Air Presto debuted in 2000, it made full use of the aesthetic capabilities of its stretchy upper by displaying vibrant sublimated prints graphics on OG colour ways such as the ‘Ice Pick’. This practice then sharply dropped off in favour of plainer executions, but the Swoosh are bringing back the eye-catching idea with this new duo of tie-dye-style colourways.
One pair is predominately teal with orange and red accents, which sort of resembles a heat map. Its hardware like the external lace cage and lining is accented in tonal teal, and broken up by a crisp white midsole. The other pair is a bit more berry, displaying tones of purple and raspberry red, tied together by smokey black hardware and red lining. Like its teal counterpart, the midsoles are also white. While the purple pair has white outsoles as well, the teal pair uses a light shade of cream to accent the Duralon and BRS1000 compounds used on the underside.
Keep an eye out for these Air Prestos to land at Nike retailers in coming weeks.
