Renew Crater Knit Revamps the Legendary Converse Chuck 70
It doesn’t get much more legendary than the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. An indomitable presence on and off the hardwood for over a century, today the model continues to be adopted by hoopers and punks, style savants and street urchins all across the globe.
As a cultural chameleon, the silhouette constantly finds new ways to reinvent itself, with the latest Renew Crater Knit being a testament to the its eco-conscious adaptability.

Manufactured from around 75 per cent recycled polyester and about 25 per cent nylon, the modernised All Star features an ultra comfortable mix of thick waffle, fuzzy terry and ripstop-inspired knits guaranteed to keep your feet warm and secure. The technical revamp also extends to both recycled laces and OrthoLite sockliner.
In the all-important engine room down below, a speckled rubber Crater Foam sole utilises rubber scraps from the footwear manufacturing process.

Of course stamped with the All Star’s inimitable logo on the ankles, the Renew Crater Knit still carries all of the model’s heritage design DNA, while overhauling the technical side for our challenging environmental pathway forward.
Coming in both clean black and white colourways, the Renew Crater Knit is available right now from Converse.
