Brighter Neutral Tones Dress Up This Upcoming Nike Air Kukini Colourway
The Air Kukini was birthed out of Nike’s Alpha Project in Y2K and has made an unexpected return over 20 years later, staying true to its original design. A historical silhouette, it’s jarring look is mostly due to its laceless mesh bootie and signature webbed TPU cage. The last time we saw this look was actually in 2020 when Stussy created the hybrid Air Zoom Spiridon KK. Following a slew of new colourways that have touched down at retailers, official imagery has appeared of an aesthetically pleasing cream and grey iteration that’s sure to find itself on moodboards as well!

The Air Kukinis from the 2000s were known for their crazy combos and wild colourways, so this approachable pair is a welcomed addition to the revival. Laying down the base is a creamy colour across the whole mesh bootie with luxe grey leather panels that match the mesh liner. Across the top is a mile and slightly translucent cage extending to the white midsole down below.

There’s no release date for this Nike Air Kukini just yet but stay locked because we’ll keep you updated.
