Converse Drops Paint-Splattered Takes on the Chuck 70 Hi
Converse‘s Archive program revives prints, patterns and more from the brand’s extensive vault, bringing these adornments into the modern day to provide retro flair. The latest piece of the Converse archives to return? A Jackson Pollock-esque paint splatter graphic, spread across black and egret iterations of the Chuck 70 Hi.

The black pair is adorned with pink, blue and yellow paint streaks while the egret pair looks to a mixture of blue, black and white. These splashes, dots and lines leave no part of the upper untouched, running from the heel right up to each pair’s signature rubber toe cap. They even descend onto the midsole for good measure, driving home their abstract nature. Though the hues used may be different, each of these high-cut Chuck 70s features a leather All-Star badge on its medial collar and silver eyelets. Finishing touches are provided by foxing on each midsole — black on the black pair, red and blue on the egret pair — a black heel badge and a classic brown rubber outsole.

These paint-splattered Chuck 70 His are available now on the Converse webstore, priced at R1 599.95
