‘Sex Education’ Season Three Trailer Reveals New Headmaster and Completely Revamped Moordale

Netflix has shared the first teaser trailer for the upcoming third season of the teen dramedy series, Sex Education.

The trailer takes form in an enrollment advertisement for a new-and-improved Moordale Secondary, where a new headmaster, Hope Haddon (Jemima Kirke), attempts to restore the school’s once-esteemed reputation following Mr. Groff’s administration leave.

“With a new uniform, a new student body and a new attitude, Moordale is the perfect place to grow into the fine adults we are destined to be,” Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu) claims in the PSA-style visual.

Season 3 picks up at the beginning of a new year at Moordale with a multitude of intersecting plot lines — Jean’s (Gillian Anderson) baby is on the way, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) and Adam (Connor Swindells) are publicly dating, Otis (Asa Butterfield) is having casual sex, Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) develops a new crush, Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) discovers what it means to be a feminist and a voicemail in which Otis professes his love for Maeve (Emma Mackey) continues to loom.

Produced by Eleven, the series was written and created by Laurie Nunn, alongside a larger writing team that includes Sophie Goodhart, Selina Lim, Mawaan Rizwan, Temi Wilkey and Alice Seabright. Season 3 is directed by Ben Taylor and Runyararo Mapfumo.

The series is slated to return to Netflix on September 17. Watch the trailer above.
