Manu Worldstar And Gemini Major Connect On “Short Story”

Vth Season’s Manu Worldstar has linked up with producer extraordinaire Gemini Major for the amapiano inspired “Short Story”. The two artists’ voices blend in seamlessly on top of the jazzy beat.

Speaking  on how the song came about, Manu tells the story of an organic process involving two masters at work. He reveals that as soon as Gemini played the beat for him while they were in the studio, they both started bouncing lines off each other and the song was born. They went on to write the rest of the lyrics, while the last components of the beat were being crafted and just like that, all the elements of the song came together.

Since appearing on Vuzu’s The Hustle, Manu Worldstar has become a mainstay in the industry, releasing the smash hit “Nalingi” in 2018. He then released his album Molimo in 2020. With “Short Story”, he branches into the sound of the day, amapiano, while maintaining his distinct song making prowess.
