Nike Dresses Inter Milan in Snakeskin For 2021/22 Season
Serie A champions Inter Milan get prepared to defend their title in 21/22 with their new home shirt from Nike, which sees a return of the iconic snake skin design, presented in a pixelated design in the club’s iconic Nerazzurri stripes.
Riding the crest of a wave of change, Serie A champions Inter Milan unveil their new home shirt for the 21/22 season from Nike. Debuted in April 2021, the club’s new crest appears on the left chest, while there is currently no sponsor in place, with the club yet to announce a replacement for the iconic ‘Pirelli’ logo. How good would it be if this shirt remained sponsor-less? We can butt dream…

The shirt uses pixelated royal, navy blue and black to resemble snakeskin, forming the club’s familiar Nerazzurri stripes. The snakeskin pattern is an ode to the coiled grass snake, or Biscione, an important historical symbol for the city of Milan and for the club. The kit marks the first time in a decade that the club’s home kit references the serpent, and the look is not far off the PES concept kit created by designer Eder Mello back in May. Strong indicators that the away shirt that he produced could also be not far off the money. Finger’s crossed.
As with other Nike kits this season, the Inter Milan kits are constructed with at least 95% recycled plastic bottles as part of the Swoosh’s Move to Zero initiative.

The kit is available now from the Nike web store and Inter’s site, before releasing to global retailers on July 15.
